The Origin

Our Story

EGGS stakepool is the culmination of over three years of research, investment, and passion. First introduced to Cardano in 2017 via Charles Hoskinson's whiteboard video, it became clear that Cardano was the only project in the Blockchain Industry with the scope, academic rigor, and financial backing to help build a better financial future for the billions of unbanked people across the globe. Furthermore, it became clear this was something worth being a part of. From there, the path was set. Diving straight into the foundational ‘What is Cardano’ paper, after that it was on to all the videos, articles, and resources available. That naturally lead to wanting to become part of the great ecosystem of Cardano, from participating in the well-modded subreddit, to twitter, and especially telegram--even live meet-ups in NYC! The next step came with the ITN, where that role now turned from active community member, to Delegator. This provided exposure to the wide array of Stakepool Operators, and an opportunity to build bonds and scope out the best of the best. By this point, enough time, money, and PoolOp connections had been invested & built, that the top candidate was chosen, and EGGS stakepool became a reality! With our now 500,000 ADA pledge, a PoolOp who has never left the #top20 on adapools.org, and low margin fees, EGGS stakepool is an amazing choice for you to delegate your stake to! Operator Bio

Martin is hands down one of the best Stakepool Operators on the planet. Literally. He has not only successfully run his ATADA pool on both the ITN (Incentivized Test Net), HTN (Haskell Test Net), & now Mainnet, but he also created and updates his own scripts, which are still today widely used & praised by the Stakepool Operator community. With Martin having his expertise and infrastructure already built out for his own pool, EGGS is provided the luxury of perfect performance, from one of the best in the game. Additionally, not only does Martin provide us here at EGGS with best-of-class PoolOperations, he also uses his time and knowledge to teach and educate us—for example, having us spin up a passive node! We feel this provides EGGS with the edge of having a top, best-of-class pool on both the Owner AND Operator side of things.
